Dear Friends of DCI Malawi,

We have been so encouraged by the wonderful response to our fund-raiser for a new(er) 4×4 for the team in Malawi.  We have 1/3 of our goal in!! $ 15,000.00. Thank you to everyone who has helped with this!!!

Our most recent zoom meeting with our team leader, John Singinie, has reminded us how necessary this vehicle is to the continuing ministry of DCI.  Currently, the team is following up / training / renewing the vision, etc. in the areas where the 4th – 5th generations have been trained.  This means that often they must travel into the far remote areas where the “roads” are not roads, but rather trails.  Very rough terrain, up mountains and travelling 10 km per hour or less, and often having someone walk ahead in the river to confirm the depth of water, etc.  The Nissan has met the challenge so far, but the DCI Team would definitely benefit from larger wheels and a dedicated 4 x 4.  

We have now been blessed to have one donor come alongside offering to match donations received before March 31,2021 up to a maximum of $15,000.   This means that whatever amount you choose to donate is now doubled!!  How’s that for incentive? WOW!  God is good.  The first qualifying $500 has come in already – actually that’s $1000 – doubled!
