We had a successful mission as we traveled to visit coach Elasy Nyirenda, her sub-coaches, and some Life Groups leaders at Salayedwa and Chivyamba areas.
We trained Pastor Damson Beza to be a leader some time ago and seeing he has trained many leaders and established so many Life Groups in this area, we appointed him as coach for the Ezondweni area which covers many places. He in turn trained Elasy Nyirenda and after some time, she was also appointed to be a coach.
Because of her love and commitment to the work of the Lord Elasy Nyirenda trained 18 leaders and has established 33 Life Groups and also trained and appointed 3 sub-coaches. Each time we go there, she introduces us to new leaders that she has trained and takes us to some New Life Groups which she has established through the leaders that she has trained. It is so encouraging to see that she also trained some sub-coaches who are overseeing leaders and Life Groups in different areas. These sub-coaches are Mercy Mkandawire, James Phiri and Peter Tembo. These sub-coaches are also overseeing many leaders of different Life Groups.
She took us to Salayedwa Area and Chivwamba Area this visit.
SALAYEDWA AREA;
At Salayedwa we met leaders from different Life Groups such as Peter Tembo who is the sub-coach for the area in Chilumba where he is currently based, Margret Mhango leader for the Salayedwa Life Group, Lestina Moyo Leader for the Chandege Life Group and Nyambezi Soko leader for the Chinjoka Life Group.

CHIIVYAMBA AREA;
At Chivyamba, we met different pastors from different churches who have been trained by pastor Sinoa who was trained by pastor Mkandawire, the husband to Elasy Nyirenda who is the coach. Before Sinoa was saved and discipled he was living a miserable life due to financial problems. His family would often go to bed without. This life style drove him to drink poison so that he would just die. However, by the grace of God, he survived. He was given first aid and then rushed to the hospital. The Lord has blessed him with a wife and 7 children. After hearing what God is doing through DCI, he walked a long distance to meet with Elasy and her husband who discipled and trained him to be a leader. After he was trained he received some Dynamic Basic Booklets and some New Testament Bibles. Pastor Sinoa went door to door to pass on what he has learnt. This has resulted in many pastors and leaders being trained by him in turn.
We were also thrilled to see how God is using these pastors and leaders who have been trained by pastor Sinoa. Sinoa went door to door to reach people for Jesus and disciple those who were saved and their lives have changed. Below are testimonies and photos of a few of those who were reached by him:
PETROSI TEMBO
Petrosi told us that before he received Jesus, he was a quarrelsome and a troublemaker. He would beat people and people used to call him “Vandame”. Others would call him an “Iron”, because was so rude. By God’s grace, he heard the Good News of salvation and surrendered his life to Jesus. He was being discipled, and his life began to change. His family and the community where he lives are happy and are now praising the Lord for saving him.
INNOCENT PHIRI
Innocent is another one the Lord has saved and changed through believing on Jesus and the one-to-one discipling. He was known as a womaniser, a drunkard and a drug addict. He married a new wife almost every year and just after staying with her for few months he would force her to leave. He bad habits and lifestyle disturbed the other people in the community. After he received Jesus as his Lord and Saviour, he received the peace of the Lord and his life is not like before anymore. He is now a servant of the Lord Jesus.
