March, 2026
We received an unexpected WhatsApp message from one of our coaches in Central Malawi, Davie. He had been transferred to this area some time ago by his denomination to reach the lost and establish a church there. He met a Muslim family and began witnessing to them. As they began to understand the Good News they believed in the Lord Jesus and began attending the local church. When all this happened, they were forced to leave their home, because it was built by the local Muslims as a home for their leaders. Now they are renting a different house.
Davie has been invited to meet with some of the Muslim leaders, which can be very dangerous. During a similar meeting in a different area of Malawi the pastors who met with these leaders were almost poisoned. By God’s grace they refrained from eating or drinking anything and walked away from that meeting unharmed. Please pray for Davie’s safety.
Their 18-year-old son was suffering from fainting spells due to a heart condition. This young man would faint suddenly and revive again after a few minutes. This has been going on for a long time, and it caused a lot of concern on the part of the family. The doctors didn’t have a solution for it. Davie prayed for him and the Lord healed him. They went to the see the doctor and he confirmed that everything was normal with his heart now. He hasn’t had a fainting spell since February, when Davie prayed for him. The rest of the family has come to faith in the Lord Jesus as well!

The Truck Needs Help!
On a different note: the Toyota Diesel truck the DCI team uses to travel to the villages needs some major repairs. This truck has 162,000 KM on it right now, but six universal joints need replacing, as well it needs the clutch kit. Because this truck operates on roads that are in very poor condition, it requires more comprehensive maintenance than what is typically necessary in Canada or the United States. The total bill for all this comes to almost $ 6,000.00. Would you pray with us that the Lord will supply this money so the DCI Team can be on the road again soon?
